Ellis Bird Farm welcomes
tour groups to visit the site. The
combination of a site visit and lunch (or afternoon tea) in our Tea House makes for an
interesting, educational and enjoyable outing. We can accommodate up
to 50 people per tour. All tours must be booked in advance. The cost
for tours is $2.00 per person. Allow at least two hours for a visit
and lunch or afternoon tea.
Ellis Bird Farm is
also an excellent place to hold a small wedding or to have family
pictures taken. Here is our

On-Site School Programs
are offered Tuesday through Friday in May and June.
These very popular
programs, which book up quickly, are offered on a first-come,
first-served basis. To book your spot, fill out the booking form
and fax
it to us at (403) 346-2211.
Bird Banding Tours are offered at 2:00 pm each Sunday
afternoon during June and July (weather permitting). There is no
charge to participate but pre-registration is required. Just call us
at 885-4477 to book your spot.
Summer Day Camps for kids aged 6
- 10 are offered on Mondays during the summer, when we are closed to
the public. The camp runs from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm and the cost per child is $25.00 and includes
snacks. If you have a group of 15 children or more, we would be
happy to set up special day camp on any non-holiday Monday during
the summer. See the Events page for

Birthday Parties! We host great
birthday parties! During the two-hour party, participants build a
bluebird box, make tree cookies, get a site tour, play nature games,
do pond dipping, learn about bats and owls, and check an active
bluebird box (weather permitting). All this for only $12.00 per
child (up to 10 children; $10 each for more than 10 children)!
Off-Site Programs
are also offered during the winter and spring by EBF Biologist, Myrna Pearman.
She is available to give talks
to schools, youth groups, seniors groups, etc on topics related bluebirds,
backyard bird feeding and NatureScaping. Ellis Bird Farm's
award-winning school program, The
Nestbox Program, is also offered each spring. Call
